Court of Canada, Mr. Blazina has had convictions overturned
on numerous charges including Murder, Robbery, Sexual Assault,
Unlawful Confinement and Dangerous Offender Designations.
Mr. Blazina is a fierce competitor both in and out of the
courtroom. A former officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, he knows
how to take command and get results. Mr. Blazina earned top
scholastic honours at the University of Victoria law school,
with the highest overall academic standing for two consecutive
years. For the last ten years, Mr. Blazina has regularly appeared
before the B.C. Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada
on major criminal law matters. He studies the law relentlessly,
and is not afraid to challenge either opposing counsel or
the Bench in order to secure results for his clients.
Mr. Blazina is equally active in his personal life. He reads
voraciously, races in triathlons, drives high performance
motorcycles and cars, and performs in operas and other choruses
with his powerful baritone voice. An avid golfer, he likes
to walk the course, and go for a run either before or after.
If you’re out on the waterfront Saturday mornings, you
might happen to hear Mr. Blazina and Mr. McCullough discussing
recent developments in the law during the course of their
weekly 20km run.
